DigiSakha Empowerment exists to empower rural communities in Eswatini by making digital literacy accessible to all, especially youth, women, and students. Our purpose is to bridge the digital divide by equipping people with the foundational digital skills they need to thrive in education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
We believe that digital literacy is a right, not a privilege. Access to technology and the skills to use it effectively can transform lives, unlock opportunities, and strengthen rural economies.
At DigiSakha, we are not just teaching computer skills — we are opening doors to the future. We envision a digitally inclusive Eswatini, where no one is left behind.
At DigiSakha Empowerment, we are committed to narrowing the digital divide that separates rural communities in Eswatini from the rest of the world. In many rural areas, access to digital tools, skills, and opportunities remains limited, leaving young people, women, and marginalized groups at a disadvantage in an increasingly digital world.
We aim to change this by providing basic computer literacy training, access to digital resources, and capacity-building workshops designed to empower individuals to participate fully in the digital economy. By equipping rural communities with essential digital skills, we foster inclusion, boost self-reliance, and open doors to education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Our programs are not just about technology, they are about empowerment, equity, and opportunity. By addressing the digital gap, we are building stronger, more connected, and more resilient communities in Eswatini.
By 2030, DigiSakha Empowerment aims to:
Train individuals in basic computer and digital skills across rural Eswatini.
Establish community digital learning hubs in at least 20 rural areas.
Increase digital confidence among rural youth and women, enabling them to access jobs, education, and start small businesses.
Collaborate with schools and local partners to integrate digital learning into existing education systems.
Promote digital inclusion policies that advocate for rural connectivity and access to affordable digital tools.
